Director of Digital Technology
Description
Primary Purpose:
The Director of Digital Technology is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategy, architecture, implementation, and ongoing administration of TowneBank's member-facing digital banking ecosystem. This role unifies leadership of TowneBank's commercial and consumer digital platforms under a single executive, eliminating channel silos and establishing one accountable owner for the full digital member experience.
The ideal candidate is a technology-forward banking executive who combines deep platform expertise, particularly with Q2 Digital Banking, with the architectural fluency to lead complex, multi-system design discussions. This leader is equally comfortable in a boardroom and in a configuration screen: able to set a multi-year digital strategy with executive stakeholders, then go deep enough technically to guide integration, security, and architecture decisions across a large and growing platform footprint. This individual will be a driving force in leading TowneBank through significant transformation of its digital banking infrastructure.
Technology Environment:
The Director of Digital Technology will have primary ownership over the administration, configuration, and architecture of the following member-facing digital platforms and integrations:
- Q2 Digital Banking — core consumer and commercial digital banking platform
- Centrix — fraud and risk management for digital and payments channels
- Jack Henry iPay — bill pay services
- Ensenta — remote deposit capture
- RePay — integrated payment processing
- TalkDesk — contact center and member engagement platform
- DocuSign — electronic signature and document workflows
- FIS D1B — commercial digital banking
- FIS Bill Pay — commercial bill payment services
- FIS Direct Link Merchant — merchant services connectivity
- FIS Integrated Payables — commercial payables automation
- FedNow and RTP — instant payment rails
- FIS IBS — core banking platform integration
