Director of Engineering

The Director of Engineering leads the Digital Experience engineering teams that is responsible for the technology enabling a customer, partner or employee product/experience. The Director of Engineering is responsible for setting priorities, managing the engineering team, and ultimately shipping the technology that creates value.

Cultivate an engineering culture that emphasizes quality, agility, experimentation and continuous delivery. Foster a DevSecOps mindset for delivery teams that own their systems and services end-to-end. Amplify Talent: Coach, mentor and develop a full-stack team of software developers to help them reach their potential. Recruit, hire, grow, and retain engineering and architecture talent. Work with your team on impactful engineering work. Estimate the financial impact of architectural solutions.

✔ Lead large, complex initiatives that deliver innovative/modern products and experiences. Able to translate business problems to technology solutions. Responsible for shipping high quality products on time. Architecth and build highly reliable, secure, scalable, and performant solutions. Experience in managing mission-critical cloud native production workloads in AWS using modern serverless technologies. Create effective partnerships with third party partners for service transformation, product delivery and support. Provide leadership and collaboration regarding key technology decisions. Actively pursue the reduction of technology debt where possible and reduce operational risk. Champion user-focused design dedicated to the delivery of exceptional user experience. Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle. Passionate about staying current on modern solutions and best practices. Perform ongoing assessments of teams and programs to support continuous improvement and innovation. Support off-hours production support and release activities to ensure high availability of critical systems.
