Director of Events and Business Development

Talent Studio is an enterprise of Indiana Wesleyan University's National & Global division. It serves as a concierge workforce partner for the AI era, functioning as a fractional Learning & Development partner for businesses, associations, and workforce organizations. All learning is university-backed and can stack toward accredited IWU degrees. This role keeps the sales engine for IWU Enterprises and Talent Studio running and puts the brand in front of the right rooms. It owns the operational side of business development: planning and staffing events, managing the CRM, running outreach, and moving prospects from first contact through to a discovery conversation. The work is hands-on and fast-paced. You will spend your days planning and overseeing events, building pipeline, and representing Talent Studio to business and association partners, making sure no opportunity falls through a crack.
