Director of Facilities Services

Position:

• The North Hills School District is seeking a Director of Facilities (Act 93 Position - 260 Day)

• Under the supervision of the Director of Finance and Operations. This position has direct responsibility for managing a comprehensive facility maintenance, cleaning, and capital improvement program for NHSD campus buildings and utility infrastructure, including HVAC, water, gas, sewer, and electrical systems.

• Additionally, the Facilities Director is responsible for creative and strategic decisions for operating, maintaining, and overseeing major building technology systems such as building automation and energy management, lighting control, fire and life safety, and elevator systems.

• The position initiates the planning, direction, and oversight of operational and capital budgetary activities of the Facilities Management Department.

• Assists with operations of District-Wide security and safety operations staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior management experience
• Ability to manage a comprehensive facility maintenance, cleaning, and capital improvement program, including HVAC, water, gas, sewer, and electrical systems.
• Ability to plan, direct, and oversee of operational and capital budget of the Facilities Management Department.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and oversee building technology systems such as building automation and energy management, lighting control, fire and life safety, and elevator systems.
• Ability to manage, collaborate, communicate, maximize resources, and engage with staff.

Salary and Benefits:
