Job Summary\: | The University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a strategic, service-oriented, and collaborative Director of Facilities Support Services (FSS). This senior leadership role reports to the Vice Chancellor of Facilities Management and Planning and serves as a key member of the executive management team. The Director provides leadership and oversight for a broad portfolio of campus support services, including custodial services contract oversight, waste management, bookstore, food services, vending, mail and distribution services, printing and design services, pest control, grounds, roads, parking management, fleet management, snow removal, docks, disposals, event setup and support services, and emergency-response support activities. The Director is responsible for ensuring reliable, high-quality, transparent, customer-focused service delivery across areas that support CU Anschutz and CU Denver students, faculty, staff, visitors, events, construction interfaces, and day-to-day campus operations. The position develops and implements strategies, processes, standards, training expectations, resource plans, and performance measures that support operational excellence, financial stewardship, safety, regulatory compliance, sustainability, and the University’s mission. Work Location\: | Hybrid – this position is eligible for a limited hybrid work schedule, in consultation with the Vice Chancellor of Facilities Management and Planning. The role requires regular on-campus presence and availability for operational needs, special events, emergency-response activities, and in-person leadership responsibilities. |

Anticipated Pay Range\: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $135,000 - $155,000. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
