Our team is passionate about creating memorable moments for every traveller.About the Role:We are seeking an exceptional Director of Food & Beverage to lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations at Rydges Wellington Airport. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing four dynamic outlets, in-room dining, and a growing conference and events portfolio. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will drive operational excellence, revenue growth, and guest satisfaction across all areas of the department.This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to shape the future of Food & Beverage at Wellington Airport. You will play a key role in developing new outlets, driving innovation, and positioning the hotel as a leading hospitality destination within the airport precinct. You will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring EVT’s quality, guest experience, and financial performance standards are consistently achieved.This is a permanent role with a minimum guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Key Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations including four outlets, conference and events, and in-room dining.• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and financial performance through effective cost control, forecasting, and strategic planning.• Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing leadership team, fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.• Collaborate with hotel leadership and culinary teams to deliver innovative concepts and exceptional guest experiences.• Monitor guest feedback, operational performance, and compliance to ensure EVT brand, quality, and safety standards are achieved.• Lead the strategic growth and development of Food & Beverage offerings, including future outlet expansion within the airport precinct.Who We’re Looking For:You are a true foodie with an eye for trends and amazing knowledge of local and international venues. You’re are a strategic and hands-on hospitality leader with proven success managing complex Food & Beverage operations.
