Director of Health and Safety
Tejas Production Services designs, fabricates, and services oil and gas production and processing equipment, including TEG dehydration units, separators, absorbers, stabilizers, line heaters, and BTEX units, from ASME-certified manufacturing and repair facilities in Victoria, TX. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on HSE Manager to own and maintain our established HSE program. This is not a program-building role. The HSE program, written policies, and customer compliance accounts are already in place; the HSE Manager will keep them current, keep the company in compliance, and keep our people safe. The role is based at our Victoria manufacturing facility, reports directly to the COO, and works closely with manufacturing, quality, field service, and divisional leadership across the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of progressive HSE experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, or heavy industrial fabrication environments.
- 2+ years owning or leading a site-level safety program, including direct responsibility for OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience administering ISNetworld and Veriforce (or comparable customer compliance platforms) is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of OSHA general industry and construction standards, DOT/FMCSA requirements, incident investigation methods, and the Hierarchy of Controls.
- Familiarity with ASME shop environments, pressure vessel fabrication, overhead crane operations, and field service work is a strong plus.
- Experience overseeing preventive maintenance and inspection programs for manufacturing equipment and vehicle fleets is a plus.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and build credibility with shop floor personnel, supervisors, and executive leadership.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Office and web-based compliance and tracking systems; organized and detail-oriented with documentation.
