Director of Human Resources

Hometown Health Centers is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead all HR functions and support our mission-driven organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive workforce strategy, employee engagement, and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning
• Manage employee and labor relations, including union environments
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management
• Ensure HR compliance and policy development
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives
• Supervise and mentor HR staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience
• 5+ years of HR management experience
• Experience in labor relations and unionized environments
• Strong background in employee relations, recruiting, compensation, compliance, and training
• HRIS experience required (UKG preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based organizations

Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Additional Information:

• Occasional travel between locations may be required
