This role owns the business unit’s P&L, growth, pricing, staffing, emergency response, and client service across all markets, and leads the Project Directors and local M/R and Mitigation leaders who deliver it. This is a high-impact national leadership role for an operator who builds standards, holds leaders accountable, and turns rapid response into predictable, profitable results.
Responsibilities
- Own consolidated P&L for M/R, Mitigation, and Small Restoration across all markets, setting revenue, gross-profit, and growth goals by market and leader.
- Lead, coach, and hold Project Directors and local M/R and Mitigation leaders accountable for financial, operational, client, safety, and growth results.
- Establish national operating standards, scorecards, staffing models, and review cadences, and maintain the M/R & Mitigation playbook from intake through closeout.
- Set pricing strategy and guardrails for M/R and mitigation work, including Xactimate expectations, T&M standards, labor and equipment rates, and client-specific programs.
- Lead companywide large-loss and CAT mitigation readiness and response, deploying leaders, technicians, equipment, and subcontractors across markets.
- Set standards for water mitigation, fire and smoke cleaning, microbial remediation, contents, and emergency stabilization, including documentation, equipment, and compliance requirements.
- Own Small Restoration execution and establish the criteria that determine when loss-related rebuild work transitions to the local Renovation/Restoration team as Large Restoration.
- Ensure Large Restoration projects are handed off with complete loss documentation, mitigation records, and preliminary scope so local teams can begin preconstruction without rework.
- Monitor backlog, pipeline, EAC, margin, billing, unbilled work, A/R, and utilization, and require corrective action plans where performance falls short.
- Drive profitable growth and repeat business with strategic clients in partnership with Sales, LAMs, and NAMs.
- Partner with Finance, Safety, Risk, and Legal on forecasting, collections, and elevated operational, contractual, and safety risks.
