We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Director of Marketing, Clinical to lead our U.S. Clinical Marketing organization. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth, increase brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, and support overall business objectives within the Clinical Strategic Business Unit (SBU).

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with strategic vision, analytical thinking, and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. This role is based in Amherst, NY.

The salary range for this position is between $135,000.00-$170,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process

Essential Functions:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top marketing talent.
  • Lead performance management activities, including employee development planning and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow leaders across the organization.

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive market growth through effective product positioning, brand management, and integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand integrity.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Business & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Development, and other key stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with global business teams to ensure North American market needs and strategies are effectively represented.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of products, customer segments, distribution channels, and competitive dynamics.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources to maximize return on investment.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee marketing processes, departmental SOPs, and quality management requirements.
  • Utilize data and analytics to guide strategic decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Encourage innovation by exploring new technologies, tools, and marketing approaches.
  • Ensure organizational quality standards and operational efficiencies are achieved.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong marketing background, preferably within a related industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading and influencing diverse teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, marketing analytics, and growth initiatives.
