Job Title: Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications
Reports to: Vice President of Operations
Status: Exempt
Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications is responsible for leading Quinn’s integrated marketing, branding, and corporate communications strategy across the portfolio. This role drives leasing performance, brand positioning, and internal and external communications to ensure consistent, compelling, and high-performing customer and stakeholder experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Lead and execute a high-impact, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with occupancy, NOI, and leasing goals.
- Oversee portfolio-wide marketing plans, channel mix, and campaign execution to maximize lead generation and conversion.
- Serve as a brand steward, ensuring consistency across all communities, platforms, and customer touchpoints.
- Direct property and corporate website strategy, UX, content, and ongoing optimization.
- Act as a Quinn brand ambassador, elevating visibility and reputation across markets.
Corporate Communications & Public Relations
- Develop and lead internal and external communication strategies that align with company vision and business priorities.
- Oversee corporate messaging, executive communications, press relations, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to craft clear, consistent messaging for organizational updates, growth initiatives, and change management.
- Manage crisis communication planning and execution as needed.
- Ensure alignment of brand voice across PR, social media, digital presence, and stakeholder communications.
Business Intelligence & Performance Analytics
- Deliver actionable insights on marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
- Establish and maintain rigorous reporting standards to inform strategy and optimize results.
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and submarket dynamics to guide decision-making.
Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Drive portfolio performance through integrated marketing, sales enablement, and customer experience strategies.
- Partner closely with Operations, Acquisitions, Construction, and Facilities to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Support training initiatives that connect marketing strategy with on-site leasing execution.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align on priorities, initiatives, and performance outcomes.
- Lead innovation by identifying and implementing new marketing channels, technologies, and creative strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team.
- Foster strong team engagement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support business development efforts and represent the company at industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, branding, or communications leadership.
- Experience in single-family rental, multifamily, or build-to-rent property management preferred.
- Proven success leading teams through growth, transformation, or centralized operations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including executive-level messaging.
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
