This is a strategic marketing leadership opportunity within a fast-growing B2B technology environment focused on transforming payment performance.
You will own the marketing and go-to-market strategy, translating complex payment infrastructure into compelling stories that resonate with sophisticated buyers.
The role combines product marketing, category creation, demand generation, thought leadership, sales enablement, and partner marketing.
You will work closely with Product, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and executive leadership to accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
A major focus will be establishing a differentiated market position and building the narrative around Payment Performance Management.
You will also lead and develop a team while introducing scalable processes, measurable KPIs, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on marketing leader who thrives in high-accountability environments and enjoys turning complex technology into market impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the overall marketing and go-to-market strategy, connecting business and product priorities to measurable outcomes across pipeline, adoption, and revenue.
  • Lead product marketing across current and future offerings, developing positioning, messaging, value propositions, market research, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market plans.
  • Build and evolve the Payment Performance Management category narrative through market education, thought leadership, customer insights, and differentiated messaging.
  • Own product launches and go-to-market programs from strategy through execution, partnering closely with Product, Sales, and other commercial teams.
  • Develop competitive positioning and market intelligence that informs product strategy, messaging, and commercial execution.
  • Lead demand generation strategy across digital, content, email, SDR, field marketing, and owned channels, with a strong focus on qualified pipeline creation.
  • Partner with Sales to create enablement materials, talk tracks, battle cards, customer stories, and outbound assets that improve sales effectiveness.
  • Lead content and executive thought leadership initiatives, transforming product expertise, customer insights, payments data, and market trends into compelling market-facing content.
  • Develop co-marketing programs with strategic partners, platforms, issuers, and channel relationships, ensuring aligned messaging and coordinated execution.
  • Lead field marketing activities including conferences, webinars, roundtables, customer events, and executive engagement programs.
  • Establish marketing KPIs, attribution models, reporting practices, and operating rhythms tied to engagement, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.
  • Build scalable marketing systems, processes, automation workflows, and AI-enabled approaches that improve team efficiency and execution speed.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing specialists while setting clear priorities and maintaining high standards for strategic thinking, creativity, accountability, and delivery.
  • Act as the strategic marketing voice across Product, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and executive leadership, helping shape the broader go-to-market roadmap.
  • Requirements:

    • 5–7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally within payments, fintech, payment infrastructure, or another complex B2B technology environment.
    • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchant and issuer needs, payment approval challenges, and the technology connecting participants across the ecosystem.
    • Proven ability to translate complex technical products into clear positioning, differentiated messaging, compelling value propositions, and effective go-to-market programs.
    • Experience owning product marketing activities spanning launches, customer and market research, competitive intelligence, positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and product adoption.
    • Demonstrated experience building or shaping an emerging market category, including developing the narratives and educational programs required to create market understanding and demand.
    • Experience managing and developing marketing professionals, with the ability to set strategic direction while remaining close enough to execution to move initiatives forward.
    • Strong track record of developing integrated B2B demand generation programs and connecting marketing activity to qualified pipeline and revenue outcomes.
    • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with experience establishing KPIs, funnel reporting, attribution, and performance measurement.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Sales, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and an openness to incorporating emerging technologies into marketing workflows.
    • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences.
    • Calm, confident, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.
    • Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making skills, combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
    • Benefits:

      • Salary range of $120,000–$150,000 CAD annually, with the final offer based on experience, skills, location, and overall fit.
      • 100% remote work within Canada.
      • Flexible working hours.
      • Unlimited paid time off.
      • Comprehensive health benefits effective from day one.
      • Opportunity to lead marketing strategy within a growing global technology company.
      • Significant ownership over category creation, product marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy.
      • Opportunity to build and develop a high-performing marketing team.
      • Exposure to payments, fintech, B2B technology, AI-enabled workflows, and emerging market categories.
      • Collaborative environment with close access to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
