- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective clients and referral sources.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing senior living communities and the surrounding service area.
- Build strong partnerships with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and other organizational departments to improve awareness and utilization of Companion Care services.
- Educate campus leadership and frontline team members about available services, appropriate referrals, and opportunities to support residents in their current living environments.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, rehabilitation providers, social workers, case managers, senior resource organizations, and other community referral sources.
- Represent Lifespan Companion Care at networking events, community programs, senior expos, and professional meetings.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns, educational materials, and outreach initiatives.
- Increase awareness of services such as companionship, meal assistance, errands, personal care assistance, and other approved non-medical support offerings.
- Partner with the Executive Director, Care Management, and Scheduling to ensure new referrals are communicated promptly and followed through to service initiation.
- Communicate prospective client needs, requested schedules, service expectations, and potential barriers to the appropriate operational team.
What You'll Bring
- At least one year experience in health care is preferred.
- Your knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging.
- Effective communication.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and a commitment to CarDon's people-first culture.
