Director of Member Experience

Lead with purpose. Build relationships. Strengthen community. The Wenatchee Valley YMCA is seeking an experienced leader to oversee member engagement, wellness, and fitness operations while creating an exceptional experience that inspires people to connect, grow, and thrive.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Five or more years of management experience, preferably overseeing multiple teams, with a strong preference for experience within a YMCA or other nonprofit organization
3. Ability to direct assigned operations including supervision of staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, program development, and volunteer development.
4. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
5. Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
6. CPR and First Aid certifications.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

1. The employee will regularly use a computer for a portion of the day and be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device.
2. The ability to work in a fast paced, organized, and deadline driven environment.
3. Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations (depending upon the programs). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
4. Respond to emergency situations throughout a multi-story building, remote locations, and varying terrain.
