Director of Mobile Response Team (51432)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Person in this position is responsible for the coordinating and managing the agency’s Mental Health Department including Mobile Crisis Response Team. Provides onsite direction and supervision of the team’s crisis counseling response and is responsible for program implementation. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees staffing, training, reporting, data analysis, and fiscal monitoring.
- Engages in community networking and support to build relationships with law enforcement, community resource organizations, behavioral health organizations and local long term recovery team.
- Increase community awareness about Mobile Response Team and behavioral health needs through community education and outreach.
- Help to assess people who require traditional SA/MH treatment as necessary.
- Provides administrative and clinical supervision to team.
- Trains, debriefs, and provides supervision for the crisis counselors.
- Provides coordination and oversight of the crisis counselors’ plan of service.
- May perform crisis counseling as needed.
- Interacts with management to gather and provide information.
- Provides on call support and supervision after hours.
- Conducts Baker Act Assessments as needed.
- Completes all orientation and mandated training activities, including E-Learning Courses, within required timeframes, and in accordance with the criteria established for this position.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.
