The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. Job Summary:
FORBES TRAINED -The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The role provides strategic leadership to all operational departments while maintaining brand standards, driving team engagement, and maximizing profitability.

Lead and manage all hotel operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Engineering, and Security.

Ensure the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence are consistently achieved.

Drive guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with brand standards, Forbes standards and company policies.

Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction goals.

Monitor departmental budgets, costs, productivity, and financial performance.

Analyze operational reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.

Coach, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular operational meetings and ensure effective communication across departments.

Work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Revenue Management teams to achieve business objectives.

Lead the hotel in delivering memorable guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.

Support pre-opening, renovations, and special projects when required.

Handle guest concerns and VIP requirements professionally and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with local legislation, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
Job Qualifications:

Previous or current Marriott experience is mandatory.

Previous or current UAE hospitality experience is mandatory.

FORBES-trained with a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.

UAE experience is a MUST
