Your Impact
As the Director of Organ Recovery, you will provide leadership and oversight for all clinical aspects of organ recovery operations. You'll guide a talented team of professionals while ensuring excellence in donor evaluation, donor management, organ recovery, preservation, and transplantation coordination.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop Organ Recovery staff to achieve operational excellence
- Drive strategies that increase organ recovery and transplantation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with UNOS, CMS, and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Serve as a clinical expert and resource for donor management, organ recovery, and organ preservation
- Partner with physicians, transplant centers, and hospital stakeholders to promote best practices
- Oversee departmental budgeting, staffing, training, and competency programs
- Support innovation in organ preservation technologies and emerging recovery practices
- Monitor and report key performance metrics to organizational leadership and advisory committees
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration
