A leading acute care hospital in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an experienced Director of Procedural & Surgical Services (RN) to provide leadership and operational oversight across OR, Pre-Op, PACU, and Cath/EP Lab services.

This is a full-time leadership opportunity for an experienced perioperative RN leader looking to drive clinical excellence, strengthen surgical operations, develop high-performing teams, and collaborate closely with physicians and executive leadership.

Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Salary: $95,000–$150,000/year
  • $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour leadership and operational oversight of procedural and surgical services.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop perioperative leadership and clinical teams.
  • Ensure high standards for patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient experience.
  • Partner with surgeons, anesthesia providers, physicians, and executive leadership.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, budgets, and department resources.
  • Monitor quality and operational metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement, professional development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Help drive strategic growth and operational excellence across surgical services.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or eligibility for Arizona licensure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership/management experience within OR, Cath Lab, Pre-Op, or related perioperative services.
  • Strong experience managing clinical operations, staffing, quality initiatives, and financial performance.
  • Acute care hospital and multidisciplinary surgical leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • CNOR or related specialty certification preferred.
