Director of Product

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and execution-driven Director of Product to lead the vision, strategy, development, and scaling of technology products that transform the real estate ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of real estate, construction, infrastructure, or proptech. This individual will play a critical role in defining product strategy, driving innovation, managing cross-functional teams, and building scalable products from concept to market leadership. We are particularly interested in candidates who have built products from 0 to 1 scaled businesses through growth stages and demonstrated strong ownership in fast-paced startup environments.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Product Strategy and Vision:

• Define and own the long-term product vision aligned with business objectives.
• Build and execute product roadmaps that drive growth, customer adoption, and revenue impact.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and customer pain points within the real estate and construction ecosystem.
• Translate business goals into product initiatives and measurable outcomes.

Product Development and Execution:

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from ideation, validation, development, launch, and scaling.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact products.
• Prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
• Drive agile product development processes and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.

Customer and Market Understanding:

• Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities.
• Develop deep understanding of customer workflows, operational challenges, and industry-specific requirements.
• Leverage user insights and analytics to continuously improve product experience.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product organization.
• Influence senior leadership through data-driven recommendations and strategic thinking.
• Establish strong collaboration across business, technology, and operational teams.
• Create a culture of ownership, innovation, and customer obsession.

Product Growth and Scale:

• Define and track product KPIs, adoption metrics, retention, engagement, and business outcomes.
• Drive product-led growth initiatives and optimize customer journeys.
• Lead product expansion into new markets, segments, and use cases.
• Ensure products are scalable, commercially viable, and aligned with company growth objectives.

Requirements:

• Graduate from premier institutes such as IIT, IIM, ISB, NIT, BITS, or equivalent top-tier institutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Technology, or related disciplines; Industry Experience; Real Estate; PropTech; Construction Technology; Infrastructure Technology; Building Materials Technology, Smart Cities / Urban Development Platforms; or Enterprise SaaS serving construction or real estate sectors.
• Proven experience building and scaling products from 0 to 1
• Experience owning product strategy for high-growth startups.
• Demonstrated success launching new products, platforms, or business lines.
• Hands-on product management experience in rapidly scaling organizations.
