Director of Quality Control, Hardlines
You will collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, and Product Development teams to proactively identify and address potential quality concerns during product development, and govern the necessary quality controls in pre-production and production to guarantee flawless execution. You will ensure products meet design, safety, construction, and regulatory standards for domestic and international markets. You will develop and execute failure mode and effect analysis for new product developments, and design product testing protocols and inspection plans to proactively mitigate potential quality or defect issues, including defining test and inspection criteria, pass/fail criteria, sample sizes, and ensuring successful execution of testing and inspection plans. You will be accountable for governing test protocols and inspection plans for Home Textiles, ensuring all team members and third parties use approved protocols and inspection forms. You will stay current on regulations and industry best practices, implementing adjustments for compliance as needed. You will build strong working relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure quality systems, best practices, and tools are properly rolled out and utilized. You will also lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals managing quality and compliance programs for Home Textiles.

- Lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals that manage quality and compliance programs for Home Textiles
Requirements
- Proven track record of ability to think strategically and communicate in a structured way
- Proven track record in driving impact such as defect reduction, continuous improvement and efficiency improvement
- Experience leading technical quality improvement initiatives for Home Furnishings
- Experience developing product testing protocols using industry accepted test methods
- Knowledge of relevant quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control
- Quality management experience within manufacturing or process engineering
- Strong understanding of total quality management principles
- Experience leading and developing top performing quality teams
