Director of SMT Expert Team

The Director of SMT Expert Team is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously developing Infineon’s global SMT / Assembly Expert Group as a central competence hub for Surface Mount Technology(SMT).
The role ensures best-in-class technical support to customers and contract manufacturers (CMs) by providing structured Level 2 expert support, enabling fast and effective issue resolution, and strengthening Infineon’s reputation as a competent partner in board assembly and interconnect technologies.
The position acts as a key integrator across functions, linking Reliability & Qualification, Backend Development, OSAT Development, Business Line Development and customer-facing organizations.
