Job Summary

The Director of Wellness leads the vision, operations and financial performance of the spa, wellness programs and guest experiences at Faro Blanco Resort, Curio and Marathon Courtyard Resort. The single spa, located at Faro Blanco, serves guests of both resorts. This leader sets one brand-aligned wellness philosophy, builds the team that serves both properties, and ensures guests encounter consistent, restorative, high-quality offerings from arrival to departure.

The role reports to the Managing Director, who oversees both resorts in the complex, and partners closely with the leaders of each resort's other departments.

Guest Experiences

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management on packaging, pricing, promotions and group business.
  • Monitor guest feedback and review platforms, and act on trends to continuously improve the experience.

Leadership and Cross-Property Alignment

  • Recruit, train, coach and retain therapists, instructors and guide teams serving both resorts.
  • Standardize brand standards, training and systems across properties while leaving room for each resort's local character.
  • Lead pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up planning, vendor negotiations and product selection.
  • Serve as a member of the resort complex leadership team and represent wellness in owner, brand and executive meetings.

Financial and Commercial Accountability

The Director owns the combined profit and loss for spa, wellness and experiences at both resorts and is accountable for growing revenue while protecting margin.

  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, and deliver monthly variance analysis to the Managing Director.
  • Drive treatment, retail, program and experience revenue through pricing strategy, upselling, packaging and membership or day-pass models.
