Director of Track & Field

Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Director of Track & Field who will also serve as the Varsity Head Coach. This individual is responsible for leading and advancing a nationally recognized program across all levels (grades K–12). This is a once-in-a-decade opportunity to shape a storied high school track & field program with innovative and principled leadership. The role emphasizes elite athlete development, competitive success, and the intentional building of a strong, values-driven team culture—creating an environment of accountability, trust, and connection where student-athletes can thrive both on and off the field. Responsibilities include program-wide coaching and development strategy, meet strategy and analysis, college recruiting support, club program partnerships, staff management, and ensuring compliance with IAC and ISL league standards.

This is a full-time position that combines the Director of Track & Field and Varsity Head Coach role with additional responsibilities at the School. The complementary role will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, expertise, and the School’s needs.
