Director, Operations

This is your opportunity to step beyond regional operations and make an impact across a diverse portfolio of NRMA Parks & Resorts properties.

As Director, Operations, you’ll provide senior leadership to our regional Operations Managers, setting direction, strengthening performance and building capability across the portfolio. Your remit goes well beyond the day-to-day, taking a portfolio-wide view of commercial performance, guest experience, people, safety, risk and operational delivery.

If you’re an accomplished multi-site operational leader ready for greater scale and complexity, this is a rare opportunity to take a significant next step in your career. You’ll work at the ‘bigger-picture’ level, strengthening accountability, translating strategy into results and building the conditions for our properties and their leaders to succeed.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and based from our Gold Coast/Coolangatta office, this is also a role that gets out into the business. You’ll travel regularly across the portfolio, staying connected to your Operations Managers and property leaders, understanding what’s happening on the ground and helping remove barriers to great performance.

What you will do:
You’ll empower your regional Operations Managers to deliver, bringing together people, commercial performance and operational excellence to create strong, sustainable results across the portfolio.

What you will bring:
You’ll bring substantial senior leadership experience across complex, multi-site operations, ideally within tourism, hospitality, accommodation or another service-led environment, together with strong commercial acumen and proven accountability for budgets, forecasting, labour, margin and profitability. Just as importantly, you’ll know how to balance big-picture thinking with operational reality, bringing a calm, credible and people-focused leadership style.
