Director Product - Developer Experience and UX Platform

Leads the strategy for GoDaddy’s developer experience and UX platform, focusing on AI-driven efficiency, automation, and cross-product design consistency for engineers and customers.
Location Details: BC or ON - Canada, Remote

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

What you'll get to do...
- Own GoDaddy’s developer experience strategy, driving AI efficiency, automation, and reduced cycle time
- Champion modern, agentic workflows, using copilots, autonomous agents, intelligent CI/CD, and automated testing
- Build the evolution of developer platforms including local development, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and observability. Identify and eliminate friction across the end-to-end engineering lifecycle
- Establish metrics and dashboards for engineering velocity, efficiency, and developer fulfilment
- Drive and own our enterprise UX Platform vision, including design systems, component libraries, pattern governance, and accessibility standards
- Partner with Product, UX, and AI/ML to enable AI-powered and conversational UX patterns across GoDaddy product surfaces
- Ensure cross-product experience consistency across web, mobile, and emerging surfaces
- Build UX Platform capabilities that accelerate product teams and uphold GoDaddy’s experience quality bar
- Define UX Platform health metrics: adoption, consistency, design debt reduction, and experience quality
- Align leaders across Product, Engineering, and UX around a unified developer experience and UX Platform roadmap
- Build, lead and mentor an influential team spanning platform engineering, UX systems, and AI experience tooling
- Be the 'voice' on engineering efficiency, UX consistency, and platform strategy, driving a culture of data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Your experience should include...
- 10+ years in product management across platform engineering, developer efficiency, or platform design systems in a global SaaS/technology organisation. Direct proven experience improving engineering efficiency, while enhancing UX quality
- 7+ years as a direct people manager, able to motivate, develop and coach teams and support people development across the organization. Strong interpersonal skills able to demonstrate data to influence senior leadership
- Experience in deploying AI copilots, agentic workflows, or LLM powered interfaces, with large-scale design systems, UX governance, or multi-product experience frameworks
- Shown success owning end-to-end developer platforms and/or enterprise UX platforms with deep understanding of SDLC, developer workflows, cloud architectures, and multi-surface UX design
- Strong technical credibility, able to work and lead cross functionally with product, engineering and UX design

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

Compensation
In addition to the salary range below, the role may be eligible to participate in a discretionary cash bonus scheme that pays 20% of base salary based on individual and company performance.
