Director, Production

I. Summary
The Production Director will be responsible for leading the end-to-end manufacturing operations of AI servers and high-density rack solutions. This role focuses on translating strategic manufacturing plans into high-efficiency production reality. The primary objective is to oversee the daily operations of SMT, System Assembly (L10), and Rack Integration (L11) lines, ensuring that all AI products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards required by global data center clients.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Production Execution & Optimization: Oversee daily production activities across multiple lines to meet aggressive output targets for AI GPU servers. Implement Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) to maximize resource utilization.

Yield & Quality Enhancement: Drive initiatives to achieve industry-leading First Pass Yield (FPY). Lead root-cause analysis for production bottlenecks or technical failures in high-complexity AI systems.

Advanced Testing Management: Supervise the specialized testing environments required for AI servers, including high-wattage burn-in processes and liquid cooling leak testing.

Shop Floor Digitalization: Lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and AI-driven predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance shop floor transparency.

Cost & Waste Reduction: Manage production budgets effectively, focusing on reducing scrap rates, optimizing labor costs, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate non-value-added activities.

EHS & Facility Safety: Ensure the production environment complies with rigorous safety standards, particularly regarding the handling of heavy rack movements and high-voltage power testing.

III. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
