Director,Project Management-Implementations (remote)

We are looking for a strong Project Implementation Manager who will manage the implementation of New Mexico Claims and Financial Services.

Act as an escalation point for all issues and risks associated with the projects and be responsible for financial management through the implementation period.

Job Responsibilities

Lead a group of Project Managers, ensuring contract implementation completion and compliance

Be the key leader for project planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation, readiness, and reporting.

· Champion opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

· Secure and maintain project resources and actively manage resource plan.

· Hold self and project team accountable for valued business outcomes.

· Remove barriers to enable project team to complete objectives

· Effectively lead execution and value delivery through highly matrixed teams.

· Manage to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and managing .

· Balance competing requirements and interests,

· Provide strong leadership at a program level

· Anticipate problems

· Demonstrate team building skills

· Ensure the team meets their annuals goals

· Providing guidance and monitoring the progress made with each project stage.

· Facilitating suitable interventions to prevent costly delays.

· Presenting program progress updates to senior executives and clients

Requirements

· Prior experience as a Sr. Project Manager or a Program Manager, in the government and/or healthcare industry.

· 5+ years’ experience leading and completing large healthcare implementations

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing projects of comparable size and complexity.

· Experience managing programs following CMS and state administrative code standards.

· Claims, Medicaid, and financial background.

· PMP or equivalent certificationis REQUIRED

· Experience in a client-facing role with a high-demand customer.

· Demonstrated comfort in identifying scope changes/creep and following a formalized change control process.

· Advance proficiency in: MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint

· Strong communication skills

· Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
