Oversee quality assurance and compliance for large entertainment projects, implementing systems and audits to ensure world-class standards and regulatory adherence.
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Assurance Director to oversee and elevate both the quality management systems and assurance of those systems across our Entertainment projects. This leadership role involves developing strategic quality assurance plans, ensuring compliance with company industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support Qiddiya's mission of delivering world-class experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and compliance strategies across multiple projects and operational areas, while aligning with corporate strategies.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to maintain high standards and foster a culture of quality excellence.
- Establish quality metrics, audit processes, and performance indicators to monitor compliance and effectiveness.
- Develop and own the annual assurance program
- Establish and maintain a Compliance Framework across the Business Unit and within projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and external partners to ensure quality objectives are integrated into all stages of project delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify risks, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on quality performance, challenges, and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and briefings for senior management.
- Act as point of contact for all Compliance issues.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting quality assurance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in quality assurance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing quality management systems in large-scale projects or organizations.
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Previous experience with internal and external compliance frameworks in large-scale projects or organizations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with audit processes and corrective action implementation.
- Certifications such as ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence or equivalent are advantageous.
