Director, Sales and Operations Planning

Performance Health is seeking a Director of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to join our team. The Director of S&OP leads the end-to-end integrated planning process that aligns demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans. You will own the monthly S&OP/IBP cycle, lead a team of demand and supply planners, and drive adoption of advanced planning systems to improve forecast accuracy, service levels, and working capital.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

S&OP / IBP Process Leadership

• Own and run the monthly S&OP cycle (demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP, executive S&OP), driving decisions and accountability across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Procurement
• Translate the operating plan and strategic goals into executable demand and supply plans
• Lead scenario planning and risk/opportunity analysis and reconcile plans to the financial forecast
• Develop and publish KPIs: forecast accuracy and bias, service level/OTIF, inventory turns, days of supply, schedule adherence, and excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory

Demand Planning

• Oversee statistical forecasting, consensus demand planning, and new product introduction (NPI) and promotion planning
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to improve forecast inputs and reduce bias
• Establish forecast segmentation, lifecycle management, and demand sensing practices

Supply Planning

• Lead master scheduling, capacity planning, and material planning across internal plants, contract manufacturers, and suppliers
• Balance supply constraints against demand, and manage inventory targets and safety stock policies
• Drive supply risk mitigation, constraint management, and rapid response to disruptions

Systems & Process Improvement

• Serve as business owner for the planning technology stack, partnering with IT on configuration, data integrity, integrations, and roadmap
• Lead implementation, optimization, or migration of cloud-based planning platforms, including AI/ML-driven forecasting and supply orchestration capabilities
• Drive adoption of scenario modeling, automated exception management, and real-time planning workflows
• Standardize planning processes, policies, and master data parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock)

People Leadership

• Hire, develop, and coach a high-performing planning team (managers, demand planners, supply planners)
• Build planning competency, cross-functional influence, and a culture of data-driven decision making
• Performs other duties as assigned
