Director, Sales Development
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Set up and lead a new outbound prospecting function, splitting time evenly between hands-on selling activity and managing a small group of early-career sellers. The role covers strategy, hiring, target setting and cross-functional coordination with the wider revenue organization.
What you'll do
- Establish the outbound function from the ground up, covering ideal customer profiles, segmentation, messaging and campaigns across several channels.
- Personally reach out to priority accounts while recruiting and mentoring a team of three to four reps.
- Shape a technology-driven prospecting approach that leans on automation and intelligent tooling so each rep generates more output.
- Take responsibility for the pipeline goal, set individual targets and keep the team focused on opportunities that become revenue.
- Work alongside account executives, senior sales leaders and marketers to align on account planning, smooth transitions of leads and follow-up on campaigns.
