Job purpose

• Oversee implementation of departmental activities and participate in developing generate policies and departmental strategies.

Main responsibilities

• Manage the department's organizational units, monitor their performance, and prepare reports to prevent duplication of objectives and duties.
• Prepare proposed strategic and operational plans, develop performance indicators and work toward achieving them.
• Strengthen external relationships to establish strategic partnerships; develop and motivate internal partners and manage change to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide necessary support to the direct supervisor and perform other assigned duties.
• Lead, direct, review and approve departmental procedures, working methods, performance indicators, and quality measures, and propose improvements.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve administrative processes, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and service delivery.
• Develop internal plans that promote team building and continuous learning to ensure the highest quality of work.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in one of the following fields:

• Business Administration
• Education / Teaching
• Psychology

Minimum Experience

• Doctorate: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
