  • Navigate Change & Governance: Lead organizational change initiatives by assessing readiness, managing executive expectations, and establishing strong governance routines to ensure adoption across teams and markets.
  • Cultivate Executive Partnerships: Actively influence decision-making and build alignment with senior officers (VPs, SVPs) and external suppliers to maximize the achievement of business goals.
  • Champion AI & Digital Fluency: Conceptualize and deploy easy-to-use dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau) and leverage AI/automation tools to improve decision speed, tracking transparency, and operational quality.
  • Uphold Corporate Ethics: Maintain an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance by supporting Walmart’s Open Door Policy.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
  • Professional Experience: 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate analytics, retail merchandising, or operations management (OR 8+ years of experience in these fields if holding a non-related degree).
  • Domain Expertise: Proven background working within retail, consumer products, sourcing, procurement, private brands, supply chain, or global market networks.
  • People Leadership: 3+ years of direct team leadership and people management experience.

Required Competencies

  • Strategic Architecture: The ability to independently structure ambiguous problems, evaluate trade-offs, and design practical long-term plans.
  • Analytical Reasoning & Visualization: Expertise in extracting insights from large datasets using spreadsheets and digital visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to create concise, leadership-ready presentations for C-suite and officer-level stakeholders.
