Student Management & Discipline Officer
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Student Management & Discipline Officer to support student well-being, discipline, and behavioural development in a school environment. The ideal candidate is a positive role model who can build rapport with students, maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive situations professionally, and support a safe and conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary investigations and case management for student-related incidents.
- Support students requiring behavioural, social-emotional, or welfare intervention.
- Patrol and supervise students during school hours, recess, CCA sessions, and school activities.
- Manage conflicts, de-escalate situations, and refer serious cases to relevant school personnel.
- Supervise students serving detention, suspension, or other corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of incidents, interventions, and outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to school leaders and student development teams.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or youths in supervision, mentoring, discipline, or student support roles is mandatory.
- Experience in student discipline, behavioural intervention, investigations, conflict management, mediation, or restorative practices is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Emotionally resilient, professional, and able to manage challenging situations with a firm yet caring approach.
- Able to commit to school working hours (7am to 3pm)
