Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Dispatcher to join our growing team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation and delivery operations, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics processes, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and track the status of shipments, providing real-time updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and customers.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and dispatching software to optimize routes and schedules.
• Process and manage all necessary shipping documentation.
• Prioritize and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and other logistical issues promptly and professionally.
• Provide clear and accurate instructions to drivers and other personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, activities, and locations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Generate reports and provide logistical updates as needed.
• Follow established protocols and procedures.
