Dispatcher IT Specialist (Delivery Team)
Summary
Staff-augmentation consultant (via emagine) supporting a US client's IT organization on the Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS platform: building Jaspersoft reports, configuring Merge and RDT rules, writing advanced Oracle PL/SQL, and supporting Test/UAT/Production migrations and incident resolution — fully remote in the USA.
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder Dispatcher Application Engineer to support our clients IT organization and business teams in maintaining, enhancing, and deploying client-specific solutions within the Blue Yonder Dispatcher platform. The consultant will be responsible for developing reports, implementing configuration changes, creating advanced database solutions, and supporting environment migrations from Test to UAT and Production while ensuring compliance with standards and governance.
Main Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Jaspersoft reports for operational and business requirements.
Create, modify, and support Merge Rules and RDT Rules within Blue Yonder Dispatcher.
Develop and optimize advanced PL/SQL scripts, procedures, functions, and packages for client-specific functionality.
Provide technical support to business stakeholders and application users.
Assist with the migration of existing clients and solutions from Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Perform configuration, validation, testing, and troubleshooting activities during deployments.
Ensure all developments and changes adhere to standards, security requirements, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with analysts, specialists, and development teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Document technical solutions, deployment activities, and operational procedures.
Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis related to Dispatcher applications and integrations.
Key Requirements
Proven experience with Blue Yonder Dispatcher / Dispatcher WMS solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Jaspersoft Reporting.
Experience configuring and maintaining Merge Rules and RDT Rules.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, including performance tuning and complex scripting.
Experience supporting application migrations across Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience in large enterprise environments with defined governance and release processes.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup and collaborate effectively with global teams.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Minimum of 6-9 years of experience.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or warehouse management environments.
Experience with multinational organizations and global delivery teams.
Familiarity with ITIL-based support and change management processes.
Experience with Blue Yonder implementations in enterprise-scale operations.
