Distribution Center/Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Establish and monitor operational metrics to drive performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, company policies, and all safety regulations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs that support operational excellence.
- Analyze warehouse processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory controls, and warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership on facility layout, product flow, and warehouse optimization initiatives.
- Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
- Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, customer service, sales, scheduling, and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Oversee disposition of damaged, expired, recalled, and returned inventory.
- Serve as a project leader during warehouse management system implementations or upgrades.
Qualifications
Required
- Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and employee engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Oracle WMS or other warehouse management systems.
- Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, or business analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in ISO 9001 environments.
