Distribution Clerk 1

About Streck: Streck is a Nebraska-based manufacturing company that makes a global impact by developing and distributing to labs worldwide. Our products provide confidence for accurate health care testing! Our passions and priorities are focused on taking care of our customers, employees, and giving back to our community. Streck has jobs for every stage of your career. If you are a dependable, hard-working, and team-oriented individual who values meaningful work, Streck is looking for you to join our community of passionate people on a mission!

About the Role

At Streck, our Distribution team keeps the world's laboratories supplied with the Hematology, Histology, Immunology, and Chemistry control products they depend on every day. As a Distribution Clerk I, you'll be a hands-on part of that mission — packaging and shipping orders accurately, safely, and on time for customers across the country and around the world.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in doing careful, detail-oriented work, enjoys staying active on their feet, and wants to grow with a company that values integrity, quality, and its people.

What You'll Do

  • Pack and ship orders — including standing orders, daily orders, international shipments, private label, promotional samples, and referee samples — following established work instructions.
  • Pull and verify orders using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and barcode scanners.
  • Prepare international and hazardous material shipments, completing all required documentation.
  • Package temperature-sensitive products with the correct amount of ice to protect product integrity in transit.
  • Set up and operate packaging line equipment, including shrink wrap machines and pallet jacks.
  • Count and verify product released from Quality Control before shipment.
  • Follow all safety, FDA, and ISO regulatory requirements, and maintain thorough, accurate documentation.
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and ready for the next order.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated success in a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid general math skills.
  • A dependable, organized approach to your work and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • A team-first attitude and the ability to work cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort learning new systems and equipment, such as WMS software and scanning devices.

Good to Know

This role is based in a climate-controlled laboratory environment, with occasional short trips into cold walk-in coolers. You'll wear lab coats and other protective equipment (hair bonnets, beard covers, masks, gloves, and/or face shields as needed) for stretches of up to two and a half hours. The work involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally — so if you like staying active during your shift, this role is a good fit. Domestic or international travel is rarely required.
