Distribution Engineer (Matilda)

Open 60d

About the role

Matilda's success depends on distribution. We're hiring a Distribution Engineer to own it. You will design and operate AI-driven systems that generate, test, and scale how Matilda reaches users.

This is how we already work across Maincode. We build systems in research, engineering, and operations that compound without manual intervention. Distribution is the next part of that.

One person with the right systems can outperform an entire team. You will build that system for distribution.

What you'll build

- AI agent pipelines that generate, test, and optimise ads, content, and messaging at scale

- Growth systems across paid, organic, and owned channels

- Experimentation frameworks that keep improving performance across the funnel

- Real-time feedback loops wired into data sources and APIs for decision making

- A compounding distribution engine that improves without manual intervention

What we're looking for

- Experience in growth, performance marketing, or GTM systems

- Background in experimentation and data analysis

- Builder mindset. Coding, automation, systems design.

- Fluency with LLMs, APIs, and agent workflows

- Thinks in systems and infrastructure

- Solid intuition for messaging, user behaviour, and conversion

- Comfortable across technical and commercial work

- Ships fast, learns faster

Note

Full-time role based in Melbourne, working closely with our in-person team. At this time we are not able to offer visa sponsorship, so applicants must have existing and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
