Distribution Requirements Planning Staff

Summary

Plans and optimizes inventory and distribution for a large agribusiness, using DRP/ERP systems to align supply with demand and production schedules.

Job Summary**

Responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely distribution of products to meet customer demand and support production schedules within PT Japfa Food Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and implement Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) strategies to optimize inventory, minimize stockouts, and reduce logistics costs.
* Analyze historical sales data, forecast demand, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine demand plans.
* Monitor inventory levels at various distribution centers and warehouses, identifying potential shortages or excesses.
* Generate purchase requisitions and transfer orders to replenish stock, considering lead times, production schedules, and supplier capabilities.
* Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and ultimately to customers.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, service levels, and forecast accuracy, and identify areas for improvement.
* Resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, delayed shipments, or product availability.
* Utilize DRP software and systems to manage planning processes and generate reports.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain and logistics operations.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in DRP, inventory planning, or supply chain planning, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of DRP principles and inventory management techniques.
* Proficiency in using DRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
