Distribution Service Engineer - Europe

Salut și bun venit la Sungrow! As our Distribution Service Engineer, you will be a trusted technical partner for distributors, installers, and end users. You will help ensure that our customers receive responsive, practical, and high-quality support for Sungrow solutions.

• Manage technical requests through hotline and ticketing systems for distributors, installers, and end users.
• Diagnose product and system issues remotely and coordinate effective solutions with internal technical teams.
• Deliver technical training sessions for distributors and installers on Sungrow PV and ESS solutions.
• Support on-site troubleshooting and customer visits when required, together with local and regional colleagues.
• Create and maintain FAQs, technical guidance, training content, and knowledge-base materials.
• Prepare regular service reports and share insights on recurring issues, product performance, and customer needs.

To feel comfortable and empowered in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Systems, or a comparable field.
• At least three years of experience in after-sales, technical support, field service, O&M, or a similar technical role.
• Good knowledge of PV, ESS, inverters, power electronics, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with ticketing systems, technical documentation, and customer-facing communication.
• A proactive, independent, and solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
• Romanian and English C1; Chinese or another European language is a plus, along with willingness to travel occasionally.

The Distribution Service team is central to the success of Sungrow’s partner ecosystem. You will work closely with customers and colleagues across Europe, build deep technical expertise, and directly contribute to reliable clean-energy solutions in the Romanian market.
