Trailers has an immediate opening for an experienced Materials Supervisor in Madill, OK The general purpose of this position is to coordinate between the receiving, inventory, scheduling, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to the production floor. This position will be reported directly to the Materials Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the materials team to include the plant scheduler, cycle count team, and forklift drivers.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Be responsible for working with production department regarding material control, consumption, repair, and scrap
- Work with Procurement and Production to identify and escalate any material shortages on the production floor.
- Optimize raw material storage within the production facility.
- Monitor and drive compliance with all company policies, ERP procedures, and safety standards.
- Monitor and Manage the shipping, order entry, and OTIF of Vertical integration parts.
- Monitor and Manage the Min/Max and Kan Ban levels in the Vertical Integration Warehouse
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
