Distribution Traffic Unit Coordinator C
Purpose of Job:
Provides a supervisory function that ensures compliance with customer requirements and company policy. Supervises the activities in the Traffic Department to ensure a positive contribution to the success of the company.
Activities & Responsibilities:

• Routing and carrier selection for Plainfield D.C. outbound shipments to customers.
• Coordinates NSK cross dock operations. • Works with customer service and manufacturing to coordinate requirement and expedite shipments. • Coordinates import/export transportation activities and support to transportation supervisor (where applicable). • Provides support as needed to the Trade Compliance Department. • Ensures a safe working environment. • Maintains and monitors for adherence to work instructions: ensures compliance to company procedures and policies. • Ensures timely traffic department communication to all other departments. |
Education and Experience Requirements:
Required:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 4-6 years of position-related experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred:
• Technical Diploma or Associates Degree
• 6-8 years of position-related experience.
Management Responsibilities:
This job has a primary responsibility and makes decisions required for managing the work of others.
