RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, plan, implement and manage all sales activities resulting in optimized sales and profits consistent with annual sales budgets and supporting short term and long run objectives as a Division Manager
  • Lead and efforts of opportunity channel, relationship management and program execution to optimize markets growth
  • Set divisional business goals for high performance and growth
  • Develop long-term strategies business plans to maintain a leading position in the marketplace
  • Development work and business trip to SEA(especially Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines), India, China, Korea
  • Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of personnel
  • Review and evaluate financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data and program improvement
  • Foster an organizational culture of proactive compliance with internal standards, and policies
  • Lead negotiations, networking, and relationship-building with strategic customers and suppliers both
  • Establish effective working relationships with vendors to ensure synergy between relevant parties
  • Challenge new ideas in line with risks and opportunities and assess new business growth opportunities
  • Accountable for plan, result and related with improvement activity to Headquarter in Japan, and report to them frequently
  • Regular discussion with affiliated company for our management and direction

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Senior trader with Professional knowledge for plastic resin and plastic films, involved in principal trading of plastic resin and plastic films for packaging
  • Min. 15 years experiences as a Sales of plastic resin and plastic films etc in Chemical trading company
  • Well-versed in the industry landscape and strong network within the industry
  • Has networking and the experience in our industry (Japanese-resin industry)
  • Possess strong planning, management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff, vendors and customers
  • Ability to work well in an unstructured yet flexible environment
  • Ability to motivate a wide range of staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Preferably candidates with few job changes in the past
  • High level of Japanese language ability to communicate with the Japanese parent company in oral, written form and readings as meeting and reporting will be required in Japanese language.
