Division Manager – Automotive BU (Global Support) | Overseas Assignment

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Division Manager to drive the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of our Automotive Business Unit. This role requires a results-oriented leader who can oversee cross-functional teams across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain, ensuring successful project delivery, budget adherence, and long-term growth within the automotive sector.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the Business Unit’s roadmap, aligning local operations in Silao with global corporate objectives.
• Manage full oversight of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. Ensure the Business Unit achieves profitability and OEE targets.
• Supervise planning and execution of industrial projects, ensuring engineering designs meet client specifications and delivery timelines.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team; maintain high engagement and performance. (Minimum 4+ years of leadership experience required.)
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to optimize the value chain and integrate new projects seamlessly into existing processes.
• Ensure 100% compliance with IATF 16949, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4–6 years in a leadership role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (advanced conversational and technical fluency). Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Industrial Planning
• Expertise in Financial Budgeting and Cost Analysis
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP)
• High social competence and interpersonal skills
• Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to manage international stakeholders effectively
• Willingness to work overseas and travel as needed
