DLO Client Admin Billing Rep

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

This position has the capability of going to a hybrid schedule after required training period.

Essential Functions:

Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday
Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment

Analyze data to ensure all billing information is complete and accurate.
Knowledge of ABN’s.
Previous experience with obtaining prior authorizations.
Follow-up on inquiries from patients, as needed.
Distribution of departmental mail.
Provide excellent customer service.
Completion of training needed to become signed off on data entry requirements.
Learn the billing front end system & become aware of all systems involving the billing function.
Visit at least one other area/ department to gain knowledge of their processes/procedures & how each affect the other.
Begin assisting with 135 follow up.
Accurate data entry to include typing 50 WPM.
Additional responsibilities, as needed.
