Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required based on business needs
  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary:

The Dock Worker / Product Transfer Driver is responsible for safely transporting products between Tribe 9 Foods facilities and off-site storage locations while supporting daily warehouse operations. This position combines local driving responsibilities with hands-on warehouse work, including loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and working in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform local product deliveries and transfers between company facilities and storage locations
  • Safely operate company-owned 26-foot box trucks (CDL not required)
  • Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Verify shipments, transfer orders, and delivery documentation for accuracy
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and transferring inventory
  • Support warehouse operations, including refrigerated and freezer storage activities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and dock environment
  • Follow all company safety, food safety, and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Previous forklift experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to meet Tribe 9 Foods' driver qualification standards.

Preferred

  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or delivery driving experience.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing or cold-storage environment.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.

  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per shift.

  • Comfortable working in warehouse, refrigerated, and freezer environments.

  • Exposure to warehouse equipment, loading docks, varying temperatures, and manufacturing conditions.

  • Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
