Docketing Technician (OA)

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team for the U.S. Attorney's Office District of NV. Typical work assignments will include: Maintaining and extracting data from automated docketing databases and systems; Entering information into systems and routing to appropriate USAO employees. Receiving and maintaining incoming case files, automated records from initial referral to final disposition and case file closure; including calendaring and tracking. Updating databases and systems to record status changes in all items docketed. Accepting service of legal documents from opposing counsel or representatives, including mail. Receiving inquiries on case status from client agencies, the Court, USAO staff, defense counsel, and other individuals and exercising confidentiality, tact, discretion, and judgment in determining what information may be properly released. Providing information in an optimally precise and accurate manner. Utilizing advanced automation techniques to produce valid and reliable data and data analyses based on the specific needs of the requester. Performing other duties as assigned. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
