Document Automation Procurement Specialist

Serves as customer advocate for Document Services by providing customer service and marketing services to both internal and external customers.

Utilizes printing management programs to prepare and manipulate digital files for output to various platforms to assist with customer's desktop publishing requests.

Furnishes technical advice regarding the preparation, design, layout, specifications, production and distribution methods for complex publications, forms, and specialty items from the original concept to the finished product.

Reviews specifications and provides expert advice to ensure that final product or service meets expectations in terms of price, quality, legality, and timeliness.

Prepares orders for DLA Document Services in-house production and GPO procurement through GPO Express.

Serves as liaison between the customer and GPO procurement officials when developing new specifications, distribution methods, and geographic area for bid advertisement.
