Delta Star is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to support the Engineering Department. This role plays a critical part in the preparation, management, and distribution of technical documentation for both manufacturing operations and customer deliverables. The ideal candidate has experience with document control, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, updating, and distributing technical drawings and documentation related to transformer projects. You will create customer manuals by verifying technical information, assembling required documents, and ensuring compliance with Delta Star documentation standards. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure critical documentation is available to support operations and product deliveries. Through your strong organizational skills and attention to detail, you will help maintain an efficient document management process and contribute to customer satisfaction.
A Day in the Life
Your day may begin by preparing and distributing technical drawings to production teams. You might then focus on compiling a customer manual by validating technical data, gathering test certificates, and incorporating required documentation. Throughout the day, you will collaborate with engineers to obtain as-built drawings, coordinate documentation shipments alongside transformer deliveries, and provide administrative support to the team. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of documentation quality will be key to your success.

Job Requirements
College diploma in Office Administration, Administrative Technology, Secretarial Studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience creating, editing, reviewing, or managing technical documentation.
Ability to read and understand English, as many technical documents, procedures, tools, and communications related to the position are available only in English.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience with document management systems and version control processes is considered an asset.
