Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DocuSign Developer with strong expertise in the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain. The role involves designing, configuring, integrating, and supporting secure electronic signature solutions using the DocuSign eSignature platform. The ideal candidate will have experience building compliant and scalable agreement workflows for banking processes such as account opening, lending, customer onboarding, servicing, disclosures, consent capture, and regulatory documentation.

Solution Design & Development:

• Design, configure, and develop DocuSign solutions using templates, envelopes, PowerForms, Bulk Send, signing groups, routing rules, and automated workflows.
• Create reusable, data-driven templates with tabs, conditional fields, recipient roles, validation rules, and dynamic content.
• Design signing experiences for web, mobile, embedded signing, and remote signing channels.
• Configure agreement workflows that support sequential, parallel, conditional, and delegated routing.

Technical Delivery:

• Analyze business, security, and regulatory requirements and translate them into scalable DocuSign solutions.
• Integrate DocuSign with upstream and downstream banking applications such as CRM, onboarding platforms, loan systems, document repositories, and workflow tools using REST APIs, Connect webhooks, SDKs, and middleware.
• Develop and support integrations using technologies such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or other enterprise integration frameworks.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and secure service integrations.
• Troubleshoot envelope failures, recipient and routing issues, API errors, webhook failures, template defects, and production incidents in BAU environments.

Quality Assurance & Governance:

• Conduct unit testing and support QA teams during system, integration, functional, regression, and UAT testing.
• Maintain version control, technical documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and governance for DocuSign assets.
• Support user access reviews, account administration, permission profiles, security groups, and audit-readiness activities.
• Ensure electronic signature processes align with applicable banking policies, data privacy requirements, records retention standards, KYC/AML controls, and regulatory obligations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with business analysts, operations, product teams, legal, risk and compliance, information security, and application teams.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, technical walkthroughs, code reviews, release planning, and production readiness reviews.
• Work with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, problems, and change requests.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Technical Skills:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with DocuSign eSignature development, configuration, administration, or integration.
• Strong experience with DocuSign templates, envelopes, PowerForms, Bulk Send, signing groups, routing rules, recipient authentication, and account configuration.
• Hands-on experience with DocuSign REST APIs, Connect webhooks, OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, and embedded signing.
• Experience integrating DocuSign with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft platforms, SAP Ariba, Google Drive, SailPoint, or document management solutions.
• Proficiency in API testing and troubleshooting tools such as Postman, along with working knowledge of JSON, XML, and web services.
• Knowledge of banking agreement types such as account-opening forms, loan documents, disclosures, consent forms, servicing requests, and regulatory communications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, incident management, and change management is desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
